Need a CUTE dessert to serve for the upcoming romantic Valentine’s Day holday?! No need to look further, because this is the treat for you!! I’m not one that particularly likes “fruity” type things or even desserts that’s overly sweet, however this IS NOT THAT dessert!
INGREDIENTS
Cake
- 3/4 c granulated sugar
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- two 10 oz jars maraschino cherries
Glaze
- 2 c powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/3 c maraschino cherry juice
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
